During July, 2012 eight youth and two adult sponsors from Sinai attended the 2012 ELCA Youth Gathering in New Orleans. The 6 day gathering was organized around the practices of discipleship, peacemaking and justice.

Speakers like Pr. Nadia Bolz-Weber, Shane Claiborne, Leymah Gbowee, Bishop Mark Hanson and others challenged and inspired all, as did several young speakers whose names you may not recognize but whose wisdom and faith give hope for the church in the future! Musicians and Sunday worship were filled with the Holy Spirit, creating an experience they won't soon forget.
